Rabbi Barry Feinman is the founder and director of Jezreel International (JZRL), a 501(c)(3) humanitarian aid organization based in Albany, NY. Since its inception in September 1996, JZRL has served as a vessel of provision and hope, responding to the desperate needs of people across the globe.
Rabbi Barry’s journey into humanitarian work began with a life-changing encounter in the former Soviet Union, where he witnessed firsthand the overwhelming poverty and suffering of countless individuals. His heart was captured, and his life was forever altered. What started as a burden quickly became a mission—one that has since touched over 40 nations. Through JZRL, he and his team have shipped critical supplies—including medical and hospital equipment, food, clothing, furniture, hygiene products, baby essentials, building materials, and new shoes—to countries in dire need.
Some of the nations impacted by this work include Israel, Ukraine, Belarus, Haiti, Guatemala, Honduras, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Jamaica, Ghana, Uganda, Kenya, the Philippines, Malawi, and many others. Additionally, JZRL partners with local rescue shelters, drug and alcohol rehab centers, pro-life pregnancy ministries, inner-city outreach organizations, food pantries, and multiple veterans’ relief programs.
In November 2014, Rabbi Barry expanded this vision by launching the Veterans Miracle Center (VMC), a unique, retail-style resource center where veterans and active-duty military members can receive new clothing, household goods, bedding, food, and personal care items—all at no cost. The VMC has been a beacon of hope for thousands of veterans in need.
Rabbi Barry and his wife, Toni, led a One New Man congregation for over 16 years called "The Seed of Abraham."
Rabbi Barry remains committed to the mission of restoring dignity, bringing hope, and meeting tangible needs in the name of Yeshua. His work is fueled by a deep faith in God’s provision and the generosity of faithful partners who support JZRL prayerfully and financially.
